Biography
Dr. Paul Updike is a Buffalo physician with Catholic Health whose work has focused on primary care and addiction treatment. In Western New York, he has held leadership roles in Catholic Health’s substance use programs and was highlighted by the University at Buffalo for helping train regional clinicians to prescribe buprenorphine for medication-assisted treatment during the opioid crisis. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
