Biography
Dr. Matthew Brand is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and medical director of orthopedics at Arnot Health. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, where he also completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Ohio State University. A distinctive part of his background is his long-standing connection to the Elmira area: Arnot notes that he has practiced in the community for more than 20 years and attended high school in Horseheads.
