Biography
John J. Leddy, MD, is a Buffalo sports medicine and concussion specialist who serves as medical director of the University at Buffalo Concussion Management Clinic and as a clinical professor at UB. According to his UBMD profile, he earned his medical degree at the University at Buffalo, completed residency training at New England Deaconess Hospital/Harvard, and now directs UB’s Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship. Leddy is especially known for concussion research: he and UB colleague Barry Willer helped develop the Buffalo Concussion Treadmill Test, and his work on prescribed aerobic exercise after concussion has helped inform updated international concussion guidance.
