Sara Spinella

Sara Spinella, MD, is an internal medicine physician and medical educator who trained at the University of Rochester before completing an Academic Clinician-Educator Scholars fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Pitt’s Department of Medicine lists her as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in General Internal Medicine, and SGIM identified her as chair of Student/Resident/Fellow Programming for its 2024 annual meeting. She has also been part of VA Pittsburgh’s women’s health work, including service as the SUD PACT physician for a women Veterans substance-use-disorder care team.
