She earned her MD at Tulane University in 2014, then completed both a cardiovascular disease fellowship and a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Rochester. Bennett is board certified in cardiovascular disease and has also contributed to published cardiology research, including work on implantable cardioverter-defibrillator programming.
