Biography
Emily Kirchner, MD, MA, is a family physician in Buffalo, New York. She completed the Lancaster General Hospital Family Medicine Residency and later served as associate director of that program, with a background in full-spectrum family medicine that includes inpatient care, outpatient care, and obstetrics.
Kirchner has also contributed to family medicine scholarship. She wrote a 2023 American Family Physician commentary on the legal and clinical challenges facing family physicians after Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
